ChatHindi is an independent web platform built by developers who wanted to create a simple, fast, and feature-rich chat experience that anyone can use — whether they're on an old Android phone or a modern laptop.
We started with a straightforward question: why should good communication tools cost money or require you to install yet another app? ChatHindi is our answer — a browser-based chat platform that includes messaging, voice notes, image sharing, video calls, and group rooms, all completely free.
ChatHindi is a full-featured real-time chat application built with modern web technologies:
Messages are delivered instantly using WebSocket connections. Video and audio calls work peer-to-peer via WebRTC, so your conversations don't pass through our servers. Voice notes are recorded directly in the browser. Images are stored securely via Cloudinary's CDN.
The platform supports multiple colour themes, a badge and levelling system to reward active users, group chat rooms, private direct messages, message reactions, and admin tools for community moderation.
Core features will always be free. We fund the platform through advertising on public pages, not by charging users.
We don't sell user data. Ads run only on public pages, never inside your private conversations.
Works on any device with a browser — no app installation, no minimum specs, no barriers.
We believe in open conversation and connecting people across language barriers and geography.
ChatHindi is supported by advertising shown on our public informational pages — this landing page, the about page, FAQ, and similar content. Ads are served by Google AdSense and are clearly labelled as "Advertisement".
We are committed to keeping the chat application itself ad-free. When you are logged in and chatting, no ads are shown inside the application. Your private conversations remain private and uninterrupted.
