You must be 13+. Be respectful. Don't share harmful or illegal content. Your content remains yours. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms. The full terms are below.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ChatHindi ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the ChatHindi website at chathindi.co.in and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service in any way — including as a registered user, a guest, or a casual visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance even without explicit acknowledgement at time of access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatHindi. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
Users found to be under 13 will have their accounts immediately suspended and data deleted. See our Parental Control Guide for information for parents.
You may use ChatHindi as a registered user (with a permanent username and password) or as a guest (with a temporary session). Registration requires only a username and password — no email or phone number is required.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:
Your username is permanent and cannot be changed after creation. Choose carefully. Usernames impersonating real people, brands, or ChatHindi staff are prohibited and will be removed. Display names (shown in chat) can be updated in Settings.
The following are strictly prohibited on ChatHindi. Violations will result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity:
Content that attacks individuals or groups based on religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or language is strictly prohibited. India's diverse cultural fabric demands special sensitivity to caste-based discrimination, communal hatred, and regional prejudice.
You retain full ownership of all content you post on ChatHindi — messages, images, voice notes, and profile information. We do not claim ownership of your content.
By posting content, you grant ChatHindi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, transmit, and deliver that content as part of providing the Service. This licence is necessary for the technical operation of real-time chat (delivering your messages to recipients, caching for performance, etc.) and ends when the content is deleted.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice. We may also remove content that is legal but harmful to the community atmosphere of ChatHindi, at our sole discretion.
The ChatHindi name, logo, design, code, and all original content on the platform are the intellectual property of ChatHindi and are protected by Indian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from ChatHindi's original materials without written permission.
The source code powering ChatHindi is proprietary. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Service is strictly prohibited.
ChatHindi displays third-party advertisements via Google AdSense on public, non-authenticated pages (homepage, blog, FAQ, etc.). Advertisements are clearly labelled. No advertising is shown inside the chat application when you are logged in. We receive revenue from these advertisements to fund the free operation of the platform.
ChatHindi is provided on an "as available" basis. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, server upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary downtime. We will announce planned maintenance where possible through our social media channels.
ChatHindi is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of content. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, virus-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, ChatHindi and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Terms or the Service shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChatHindi and its team from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any content you post.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to ChatHindi at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@chathindi.co.in. Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ChatHindi are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@chathindi.co.in to resolve disputes informally.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the revision date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will post a notice on the ChatHindi homepage. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
