How ChatHindi keeps its community safe — our policies, moderation systems, and what we do when rules are broken.
ChatHindi is committed to being a safe, respectful, and welcoming place for everyone. This page explains exactly how we protect our community and what happens when rules are violated.
All users of ChatHindi — whether registered or guest — agree to follow these community standards:
Our platform has basic automated filtering. However, we rely primarily on human review for moderation decisions rather than automated removal, to avoid false positives.
Our admin team reviews all reports manually. We do not outsource this to third parties. Every report is read by a human who makes a considered decision.

We respond to all reports within 24 hours. For child safety emergencies, we respond within 12 hours.
ChatHindi admins can view all public room messages for moderation purposes. Private DMs are accessible to admins only when there is a reported safety concern that requires investigation. We do not read private messages for any other purpose.
We retain account information for banned users to prevent ban evasion. Deleted messages are removed from the visible chat but may be retained for a short period in database backups before being permanently purged.
If you believe your account was banned in error, you can appeal by emailing support@chathindi.in with your username and the reason you believe the ban was incorrect. We review all appeals and respond within 48 hours.
